Evolution Vs. Intelligent Design - Debate # 2

This is a really interesting debate to me. I know a lot of people who believe that Intelligent Design is a Christian Power Trip Bringing back Dogma into education. I'm not sure if this is true. There is not really a doctrine for intelligent design, but I do find lots of similarities to ancient teachings. Buddhism, Kaballah, and Theosophy have a lot more in common with “Intelligent Design” than the supposedly solid theory of Darwin. "Nothing comes from nothing" says Helena Blavatsky. Darwin says "We came from nothing" Darwin became a Christian towards the end of his life if I remember correctly. Blavatsky studied the esoteric religions of the world and stood by what she said till the day she died. Life = energy. We are alive. If people want to believe there is intelligence behind it, then good for them. At least there is spirit in their quest.

Science on the other hand has no spirit in this epoch. It's bleak, they want to deconstruct everything from spirit, love, soul, death, and they want to make us live forever. What is a vampire’s major complaint. "My soul left me a long long time ago". I'm not picking either side, but I am open to debate.

I’m just not sure what is more dogmatic. Science or Religion. What ever happened when they were both one?

I'll leave you with an interesting article from NPR on someone caught somewhere in the middle.
